5 Best Sustainable Brands for Petites

Clothing in the US is nearly always designed for a 5’7”/170cm fit model, so if you are 5’4”/162.5cm or under, you may have had difficulty finding clothing at some point or another! All of these brands offer lines specifically for petite women - not just shorter lengths, but designs that have been scaled down to fit you beautifully. Let me know how it goes! :)

As always, the brands I recommend utilize natural, recycled, deadstock, or upcycled fabrics (making them sustainable), and pay their workers a fair wage or produce in a low risk region like the USA or EU (ethical). For more info on what I look for, check out Sustainability 101.

Warp & Weft - Great fitting American made denim with just the right amount of stretch.

Reformation - Natural and recycled fibers, conscientious water usage, and the perfect retro-sexy aesthetic.

Petite Studio - On trend pieces made in NYC. **Fabrics may not be 100% sustainable, but I feel like this is an amazing petite option & it’s hard enough to shop when you are under 5’4”!! Just check the label & avoid polyester.

Eileen Fisher - Classic, minimalist mix & match looks.

Christy Dawn - Beautiful boho dresses made from deadstock fabrics in LA.
